How to achieve your best life

Sometimes we just need to “get out of our own way.” It is so much easier to blame our inability to reach our goals or achieve a certain outcome, on someone or something else. We’ve all played the blame game at one point or another. It’s the perfect cop out. When we say things like “If only this person would act different this would…”, “if only I could live somewhere else I would…”, “if I had a better job, I could…” if only… HOLD IT…

I know it’s not always easy to accept 100% responsibility for everything you are experiencing, especially when all the physical evidence is showing you that it is someone or something else that is the cause of your problem: “lack of finances”, “market too saturated”, “my dad was never there”“the economy is bad”, “the government needs to change”! It can be such a sigh of relief if it’s someone else’s fault. Plus the people you surround yourself with are having the same experience so it can’t be you right?

Yet for generations, these complaints have never changed, but that has not stopped some people from moving ahead. These high achievers always seem to prosper no matter what is happening or where they are. I believe, if you plant apple seeds don’t expect to get strawberries. Whatever you put in (usually your mindset, people you surround yourself with, your beliefs) is what you will get out (the results in your life).

You can’t change the past, but you can shape the future starting now. Happiness and a fulfilling life and business are not reserved for some. In the movie the Matrix, one of my favorite lines is “It is not the spoon that bends it is you”. It means that when there is a physical limitation around you, if moving it doesn’t work or creates resistance, move around it and allow the flow of divine assistance to guide you through (you’re never alone). Changing the plan is not giving up, there is always another way to achieve the same outcome.

Sometimes things don’t work out because there are weeds in your life you need to eliminate to have better clarity and achieve your goals.

In this week’s Musings Interview, I speak with Corey Poirier, international motivational and TEDx speaker, who has interviewed over 2,500 of the world’s super high-achievers including Dr. John Gray (Author of Men are From Mars, Women are from Venus) and Jack Canfield (author of Chicken Soup for the Soul).

He shares the 5 weeds that high achievers have eliminated from their lives that may be standing in your way and your business growth. Click below, to learn what those weeds are and how to get rid of them and start living the life you desire.

P.S. He has a special gift for you at the end of the video, so please feel free to share the video with your friends!
